A troubled man who plunged to his death from a tower block - seconds after his girlfriend had fallen - was heard screaming: 'If she's going, I'm going too.'
Steven Parker, 23, followed his love Kiran Creevy, 20, in plunging 150ft from the 12th floor of her empty Leeds council flat.
The couple, who lived in a maisonette nearby and were having problems finding work, reportedly left a suicide note before dialling 999. Neighbours said they heard his final words.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
