Remains of mother of three who worked as escort found by hikers four and a half years after she disappeared

The remains of a mother of three who led a double life as an escort have been discovered four and a half years after she disappeared from Grand Junction, Colorado.

Hikers exploring a dry creek bed found a full skeleton and along with personal belongings in a remote area about 30 miles from Grand Junction on Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators quickly identified the bones as Paige Birgfeld, who vanished in late June 2007 while she was returning home from a trip out of town.
