Woman fatally shot at Indiana convenience store

A woman was shot and killed Sunday during an apparent homicide at a convenience store in northwest Indiana.

Judi Simpson-Beaver, 48, was shot multiple times at the Lucky Food Mart in the 5600 block of Cleveland Street in Merrillville, according to a release from the Lake County Coroner’s office.
