A 70-year-old Savannah-area landlord has been arrested and charged with multiple offenses after police said he shot and killed a dog that bit him.

Authorities said Wrenn was fixing an electrical problem at a mobile home when the dog bit him. The animal's owner said the dog was tethered with a chain.
Police said Wrenn went to his truck, got a pistol and shot the dog nine times. Neighbors said Wrenn reloaded his gun during the incident.
