A drunk man was arrested for killing his girlfriend's dog after the couple had a fight.
Samuel Stubbs Talbert, 35, took the young white shepherd dog for a walk last month near the Arvada, Colorado home he shared with his girlfriend, Ashley Ryan, and began to attack the animal, witnesses told police.
Neighbours notified authorities as they tried to stop the man from choking and beating the nearly two-year-old dog named Akasha.
