Mother killed kitten called Dexter with a baseball bat and encouraged son, 8, to torture another cat to death

A mother has been found guilty of killing a kitten by bludgeoning it with a baseball bat and encouraging her 8-year-old son to torture another cat. Wilana Joenel Frazier, 25, repeatedly hit a black and white kitten called Dexter with a baseball bat causing such severe head trauma that he had to be put down two months later, the court heard. Frazier, six-months pregnant at the time of the attacks, also goaded her young son to abuse a second kitten, who was later found dead at the bottom of a trash can.
