HIROSHIMA — Police said Saturday they have arrested a 26-year-old woman for allegedly drowning her 4-month-old son in the bath in Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima Prefecture. According to police, the woman, who has been named as Yuki Nakamatsu, contacted them at around 10:45 a.m. on Friday to report that she had killed her son, Fuji TV reported. Officers arrived at her home to find her son Haruki in the bathtub, submerged in water. Haruki was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead two hours later. According to police, Nakamatsu has confessed to the crime but gave no motive.
