Elderly couple killed alongside granddaughter after savage winds dump their mobile home in a ravine

Devastating storms tore across northeastern Oklahoma on Friday, killing an elderly couple and their granddaughter, as they babysat the young girl. Straight-line winds whipped through the state, destroying homes, trees and power cables in their wake, including the couple's mobile home on the Kansas border. It was picked up by the winds, blowing at up to 70 mph, and dumped in a ravine. The mangled bodies of the grandparents and their charge were found strewn in a nearby creek 50 yards away after an extensive ground search.
