PRAGUE, Okla. -- Pottawatomie County Sheriff's deputies said they are investigating a homicide and kidnapping after a body was found near Prague on Wednesday evening.
Deputies said Ethan Walton, 19, and his girlfriend went with siblings Glendon Gouker, 39, and Michele Elizebeth Gouker, 29, to look at property for sale.
Pottawatomie County deputies said at some point the man was killed and the woman was kidnapped and held against her will. Deputies said the woman eventually escaped and got help.
Capt. J.T. Palmler said investigators found Walton's body in a 55-gallon drum with his feet taped and handcuffs on.
Detectives said preliminary reports indicate Walton died of blunt force trauma to the head.
"She was under the assumption she was there to witness the sale of the property. When she got to the door of the shed, she could see her boyfriend lying on the ground. At that point, she didn't know if he was dead unconscious or what," Palmler said.
Investigators said the woman was kidnapped, duct taped, handcuffed and repeatedly sexually assaulted. Deputies said they woman was later taken inside a house on this property and tied to a bed.
"At some point during the day, a female would open the door and check on her," Palmler said.
Investigators said the woman was able to escape by jumping through a bedroom window.
Deputies said they have not ruled out that drugs maybe involved. The sheriff's office said a small amount of narcotics was found at the scene.
Deputies arrested the Goukers on suspicion of kidnapping and murder.
The brother and sister claimed they were only protecting themselves after the couple invaded their home, according to deputies.
