2 die, 3 injured in 2-vehicle crash north of Kerman

Two men died this morning when they were thrown out of a car that ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle north of Kerman, the California Highway Patrol said.

The driver and a passenger in a 2002 Saturn SL1 died when the car that was eastbound on Shields Avenue failed to yield at a stop sign at Highway 145 and was struck by another vehicle, the CHP said.
