Ex-wife charged with murdering her husband six months ago in what she had claimed was a dramatic robbery

A woman who claimed her ex-husband was killed in a dramatic robbery more than six months ago has now been charged with his murder.

Joy Pounds Hochreiter was arrested on Monday in connection to the killing of Chris Goltry, whose bullet-riddled body was found in an Orange County park on October 8.

The 37-year-old had reported Goltry missing the previous day, claiming that she was on the phone to him when she overheard a man’s voice demanding money – followed by six gunshots.
