Four-year-old boy fights for life after shooting himself in chest with gun he found under mother's pillow

A four-year-old Philadelphia boy is fighting for his life after shooting himself in the chest with a gun he found under his mother’s pillow.

Currently undergoing emergency surgery at St Christopher’s Hospital for Children, his condition is described as critical.

The tragic shooting occurred at 6.55pm on Saturday night inside a bedroom of a house in the Mayfair section of northeast Philadelphia.
