Care worker stabbed to death while visiting mental health patient at home

A mental health care worker was stabbed to death while she visited the home of a patient who had a history of violence.

Jennifer Warren had been carrying out a routine assessment at the home of mental health patient Brent Redd, who once pleaded guilty to the attempted murder of a family member.

Officers were called to the property by Redd himself who told them Ms Warren had been stabbed, according to police chief Steve Salle.
