Three-day-old girl mauled to death by family pit bull while her parents were in another room

A newborn baby has died after being mauled by her family’s pit bull dog.

Makayla Darnell was just three-days-old when the brutal attack took place the living room of her home in Toledo, Ohio.

It happened at around 6.30pm on Thursday evening, days after Audrianna Myers and Jared Darnell celebrated her birth at Lima Memorial hospital.
