Toddler shot dead in Quebec

LEVIS, Que. — Police say they plan to interrogate a man who showed up at a home with guns Thursday evening before a toddler was shot and killed.

The man is an acquaintance of the boy's mother, police said. The dead child's father says the mother had been harassed by a man for weeks prior to the shooting.

In a posting on a Facebook page, the father criticized police for failing to act sooner.
