TORONTO - A cash-strapped clerk who fatally stabbed his 81-year-old neighbour and shopped at her expense will spend at least 15 years in prison, a judge ruled Monday. Mohammad Hamadeh repeatedly stabbed Marion Lyons “in a rage” after she refused to give him money, said Justice Michael Dambrot in passing sentence against Hamadeh for second-degree murder. Hamadeh was found guilty by a jury in March of second-degree murder and was automatically sentenced to life imprisonment for the Jan. 6, 2009, slaying of Lyons, 81.
