Teen, 17, drinking with father accidentally kills himself when bullet ricochets

A Texas teenager shot and killed himself while he was playing with a loaded gun.

Police in Little Mexico, an area south of Alamo, say that Israel Torres was drinking heavily with his father before the accident on Monday night.

Mr Torres said that the teen pointed the loaded weapon at a butane tank and fired, causing the bullet to ricochet backwards and straight towards his head.
