Husband and wife beset by family tragedies found shot dead at family home in suspected murder-suicide

A retired husband and wife who endured a string of personal tragedies have been found dead inside their suburban home in an apparent murder-suicide. Police confirmed they found the bodies after breaking into the house in Sale, Greater Manchester, on Friday afternoon after a worried relative raised the alarm. Neighbours, who named the pair as Bob and Patricia Seddon, said the couple had been having a ‘tough time’ through several years of personal and family difficulties.
