Boy, 12, found dead by his mother after accidentally hanging himself on 20ft-high zipline in his backyard

Jackson Roos apparently became entangled in the wire when a helmet or strap was caught, according to police in Redmond, just outside Seattle. His mother called emergency services after finding the boy unresponsive and hanging from the commercially made zipline. He was cut down by firefighters at around 2.30pm yesterday and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards.
