Woman 'tortured her maid to death with scalding water because she was lazy'

An employer tortured her maid to death in an attempt to force her to become better at housework, a court heard. The Emirati woman abused the Ethiopian maid daily after she moved in during Ramadan, Abu Dhabi Criminal Court heard.
