Long Island boy, 6, dies after he is found floating in family pool

A 6-year-old Long Island boy died Wednesday after being found floating in his family’s pool, Suffolk County officials said. Officials say the unidentified child was discovered in his backyard in-ground pool on Bedell Street in North Lindenhurst just after 5 p.m. Tuesday.
