Gunfire rings in the new day as one is killed and 12 are injured across four boroughs

Sixteen people were shot — and one killed — in a four-hour spree of violence across the city from just after midnight until dawn Sunday, police said. The fatal shooting was in the Bronx. Twelve others across four boroughs were left with non-life-threatening injuries.
