More than 150 soldiers sentenced to death for their part in bloody Bangladeshi mutiny that left 74 dead

A court in Bangladesh today sentenced 152 people to death for killing dozens of military commanders during a brutal two-day uprising. At least 74 people died in the conflict over salaries in 2009, including 57 army officers. The border guards, who were known as the Bangladesh Rifles, claim they revolted in a fight for wages equal to commanders in the army.
