One dead, two shot on Far South Side

The three men were in a Jeep Cherokee in the 600 block of West 115th Street about 7:04 p.m. when a dark-colored sedan pulled up alongside them and someone inside shot at them, police said.

The driver was struck in the arm, the front-seat passenger was struck several times, and the backseat passenger suffered a graze wound, police said. The men drove to Roseland Community Hospital, where the front-seat passenger later died.
