A New York City man, apparently heated over what the NYPD is calling a bisexual love triangle, gunned down his ex-girlfriend and then chased down and shot her lesbian lover on a busy Brooklyn street Wednesday afternoon.
Jeanette Martinez, 23, was in the process of moving when her ex boyfriend ran up and shot her twice in the head as she stood near her car.
Police are saying Martinez had filed an assault complaint against the gunman, who the NYPD has not yet identified, just hours before the 1 p.m. incident.
The gunman then chased Martinez’s girlfriend of seven months, Keila Ocasio, 19, across five lanes of busy Brooklyn traffic and into an oncoming SUV.
As Ms. Ocasio lay on the ground after being hit by the vehicle, the gunman stood over her and pumped four shots into Ocasio, and then fled the crime scene, police sources are saying.
Martinez died at the scene. Ocasio, who turned 20 today, is in critical condition tonight at Brookdale University Hospital after undergoing surgery.
The NYPD, are still looking for the gunman at time of publication.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
