The estranged wife of a California sheriff is facing the loss of her ear and hearing after being mauled by a police dog in her bed.
The attorney representing 60-year-old Victoria Youngblood said that she was alone in her house when the K-9 dog struck almost tearing her ear from her head.
The dog was in the house after police K-9 units arrived at her Bakersfield home on Easter Sunday to serve a search warrant after her son was arrested on drug charges earlier in the day.
