Hunter shot and killed by friend in South Carolina woods after he was mistaken for a wild hog

A Florida man was shot and killed during a hunting trip over the weekend after a friend mistook him for a wild boar. Robert Iselin Jr., 51, of Jacksonville, Florida, was shot once in the chest at about 9am on Saturday in Greenwood County, South Carolina. Authorities said Iselin was with a group of hunters that had separated after going into a wooded area near the town of Ninety Six. After being dropped off in a four-wheeler by Iselin, 25-year-old Lucas Brickweg climbed into a hunting stand, according to the Index-Journal newspaper. A short time later, Brickweg heard some rustling nearby. Thinking he had a wild boar in his crosshairs, he fired a single shot. But when he went to inspect the animal, Brickweg was stunned to find that it was Iselin.
