A man was shot dead by robbers while taking pictures of a Philadelphia park with his girlfriend and brother in the early hours of the morning.
Two armed men wearing hoodies confronted the trio in Love Park in Center City at around 2.30am yesterday.
The unnamed victims fled when the attackers declared the robbery, but were pursued into a SEPTA entrance near the Municipal Services Building.
At least eight shots were fired at one of the men with a semi-automatic handgun, one of which struck him in the abdomen, it was reported by NBC10 Philadelphia.
The 37-year-old was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he died yesterday afternoon.
