Six severed cat heads found in Stouffville

York Regional Police are investigating a series of "disturbing" cat decapitations in Stouffville. The heads were all found within a one-kilometre radius near Tenth Line and Main Street in the last few months, police said. "We have ruled out accident or a predatory animal as the cause," Const. Laura Nicolle said. The cat heads were found by different individuals over the past few weeks, some initially reported to the OSPCA and the Whitchurch-Stoufville bylaw department. "It's bizarre and disturbing," Nicholle said. "You have to ask yourself, what kind of person would do this? And, what else are they capable of?"
