A teenager has been accused of stabbing his grandmother 93 times and shooting her in the head with a crossbow because he wanted to punish his uncle.
Jasper Aristotle Smiddie had initially plotted to kill his uncle, but instead decided to make him live with the death of his mother, authorities have alleged.
The 19-year-old was arrested yesterday morning and charged with the first-degree murder of 67-year-old Gloria Helfrich in her bedroom at the home they shared in Lake Wales, Florida.
