Two bodies have been found in a flat following a fire in Earlsfield, south-west London.
The bodies of an adult and child were discovered in the bedroom of a second-floor flat at Willow Tree Close.
They have not yet been identified and it is not clear whether they were male or female, London Fire Brigade said.
Emergency services were called to the flat at about 1925 GMT on Friday. It took 20 firefighters an hour to control the fire, which damaged half the flat.
The flat is on the second floor of a three-storey block, the fire brigade said.
Crews from Wandsworth, Tooting, Battersea and Wimbledon fire stations attended.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by fire officers and the police.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
