CLARKSBURG, W.Va. -- A Harrison County woman has been arrested after squeezing a 15-week old infant and breaking six of his ribs and his pelvis, police say.
Erika Renee Stire, 24, of Spelter, was arrested Thursday after she allegedly squeezed the baby while trying to get him to stop crying, according to State Police.
Stire was arrested for two counts of child abuse causing serious bodily injury and one count of child neglect causing serious risk of injury. She was arraigned in Harrison County Magistrate Court and released on bond.
