A MAN has been charged with raping his 13-year-old neighbour and burying the body of the aborted foetus after the girl performed a home abortion.
Michael James Lisk, 30, buried the body in woods near his home in Kunkletown, eastern Pennsylvania, police said.
Mr Lisk told them he suspected he got the girl pregnant while girl said that she had attempted an abortion on herself days earlier and the baby was stillborn.
She went to a hospital, and medical workers contacted police.
Mr Lisk was arraigned on charges of raping of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, concealing the death of a child and abuse of a corpse.

Woman Killed by Lightning Moments Before Marriage Proposal

(NewsCore) - A 25-year-old woman was killed by lightning while hiking in North Carolina -- just minutes before her boyfriend was to ask for her hand in marriage, the Asheville Citizen-Times reported Tuesday.
Richard Butler, 30, said he had taken girlfriend Bethany Lott to Max Patch Bald, a bald mountain near Asheville, to propose when she was struck by lightning Friday.
The young couple from Knoxville, Tennessee, were walking to the top of the mountain on Lott’s favorite trail when thunderstorms rumbled across the region.
Butler, who suffered second-degree burns, said he remembered three bursts of lightning and believes the third struck Lott.
“She was probably five feet (1.5m) in front of me, so given the incline, she was a good bit higher than me, but it jumped to me,” he said.
“I was spun 180 degrees and thrown several feet back. My legs turned to Jell-O, my shoes were smoking and the bottom of my feet felt like they were on fire."
He then turned to find his girlfriend lying on the ground and called for help.
As rescuers tried to revive Lott, Butler said he crouched near her body and put the engagement ring on her finger.
“I put the ring on her finger while the EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians) were working on her,” he said.
“They are listing me as her fiancé in the obituaries.”

(The Times of London) - Mexican police discovered six bodies with their hearts cut out, apparently victims of drug violence between rival cartels, in an underground cave on the outskirts of Cancun, The (London) Times reported Tuesday.
The bodies of four men and two women bore signs of torture and in two cases the killers carved the letter "Z" into them. The mark was in the past been found on victims of the notorious drug gang the Zetas, suggesting that the killings were possibly a settling of scores in the group’s war with its rivals.
All six victims "had on the left side of the chest a hole through which their hearts had been removed," said Ivonne Cardena of the state attorney general’s office, adding that the bodies were also badly beaten and presented stab wounds.
The bodies were discovered Sunday after a resident in the Cancun suburb of El Roble alerted police to the presence of a bloody mattress outside a small natural cavern beside a road.
Arriving at the scene, police found two bodies beneath the mattress and called in firefighters to help to excavate the deep pit, where after an operation lasting several hours the remaining bodies were discovered.
All were bound at their hands and feet, two with handcuffs and the rest with cord. Forensic investigators said the removal of the victims’ hearts took place after their deaths, which occurred at least 24 hours earlier.
Francisco Alor Quezada, the attorney general for the state of Quintana Roo, said preliminary forensic studies found traces of cocaine and amphetamines in the victims’ systems. Monday, one of the victims -- who Cardena described as a "minor narco" -- was identified as Francisco Silva Ruiz.
The discovery was the latest in a series of killings as cartels continued fighting for domination of the Caribbean port, a key gateway for the trafficking of drugs from South America through Mexico on their way to the U.S. and Europe.

Exorcism Isn't Covered, Insurer Insists

INDIANAPOLIS (CN) - An insurance company insists it has no obligation to cover injuries suffered during an "exorcism" by members of the City Church for all Nations. Cincinnati Insurance claims an autistic church member was restrained and assaulted until he vomited blood during the "exorcism."
The City Church for all Nations fka Cherry Hill Church (CHC) "operated a college ministry, which it called a 'school of theology,'" near Indiana University in 2007, according to the federal complaint.
"CHC made available its parsonage where 'students' in its 'school of theology' could pay rent and reside in the parsonage during their participation in the program," the insurer says.
It claims that defendant Edward Uyesugi II was not a member of the CHC staff but only attended services there and volunteered as an usher. He also did odd jobs for defendant Mary Lou Raby, whose autistic grandson and ward, Jacob Raby, are both defendants in this case.
The insurer claims that Uyesugi told the grandma that her grandson "could be cured of his autism by having 'the demons' cast out of his body."
She told Uyesugi to go ahead, and he performed the exorcism with help from Aaron Raby, who restrained Jacob while Uyesugi assaulted him, the insurer says.
During the exorcism, Uyesugi "repeatedly struck [Jacob] on the chest, commanding 'the demons' to leave [Jacob's] body,'" according to the complaint.
Uyesugi also "put his hand down Jacob's throat, claiming that 'demons' were inside causing Jacob to vomit blood," the insurer says.
And he struck Jacob in the face while Aaron restrained him, according to the complaint.
A Monroe County jury convicted Uyesugi of felony battery and criminal confinement, Cincinnati says. It wants to wash its hands of all of them - the church, Uyesugi and all the Rabys. It is represented by Andrew Miller with Starr Austen & Miller of Logansport, Ind.

Drunk Driver Launches Car into Air at Toll Booth

DALLAS -- A suspected drunk driver launched her car over a toll booth in Texas after apparently misjudging the entrance. The airborne crash was caught on video.
Surveillance cameras show the car speeding toward the toll entrance and then hitting a section of concrete, sending the vehicle into the air.
The car then burst into flames.
It happened Tuesday after the driver left the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport.

Dad Accused of Using Stun Gun on Daughter's Friend Over Naked Photo

TEMECULA, Calif. -- An angry father is accused of using a stun gun on a 23 year old man who sent his 17 year old daughter an explicit cell phone picture.
William Atwood Sr., 45, was charged Wednesday with multiple felonies in connection with the case.
Authorities say Atwood lured Justin Moore to his home, ordered him to strip down to his boxer shorts, and tied him up and tased him with a stun gun before turning him over to a sheriff's deputy.
Moore told authorities he sent a photo of his genitals to several friends, including Atwood's daughter, as a joke.
Atwood apparently didn't think the joke was funny when his daughter told him about the picture in January.
According to court records, Atwood called the Sheriff's Department saying that Moore sent pornography to a child.
Before detectives could investigate the claim, Atwood told deputies that Moore came to his home uninvited.
He admitted telling Moore to take off his clothes and says he bound his wrists and ankles with zip ties.
Deputies found Moore at Atwood's home naked, tied up and extremely frightened.
Moore tells a different story. He says that Atwood called him and asked him to come over to discuss the photo. When he arrived, Atwood was holding a shotgun, Moore told officials.
He says Atwood ordered him out of his car and fired a shot. Atwood pulled him off the ground by his feet, injuring his shoulder, according to Moore.
Atwood told Moore he had connections with the Pechanga tribe and was going to have him buried on the reservation, court records say.
Moore said he believed that Atwood was going to kill him.
A short time later, Atwood pulled out a handgun and a stun gun.
He shocked Moore on the shoulder for about 20 seconds and asked him how he liked it, court records say.
Moore said he was detained for about an hour before Atwood called the Sheriff's Department.
Investigators determined that Moore had received a call from Atwood about an hour before he called authorities and also found a text message Moore had sent to a friend on his way to Atwood's house, saying he was going to discuss the pictures.
"If I don't get back, let everyone know," he joked.
Investigators searched Atwood's home, seized zip ties, at least two stun guns and more than a dozen firearms.
The district attorney's office on Wednesday charged Atwood with making criminal threats, false imprisonment, assault with a stun gun, assault with a deadly weapon and other gun charges.
Prosecutors declined to charge Moore in connection with the photo for lack of evidence, said district attorney's spokesman John Hall.

Cheeky inmate overpacked for jail stay, astonished cops say

WENATCHEE — A full load of contraband came into the Chelan County Regional Justice Center on Wednesday night, leaving law enforcement officers amazed.
Coming in rectally — via one person — were a green cigarette lighter, cigarette rolling papers, a golf-ball size baggie of tobacco, a bottle of tattoo ink, eight tattoo needles, a one-inch-long smoking pipe and a small baggie of suspected marijuana, said Sgt. John Kruse, a Wenatchee Police Department spokesman.
“We were all wondering, ‘How do you put all that up there?’ ” Kruse said. “The tobacco was pretty impressive; it was a good ounce.”
Gavin Stanger, 24, of East Wenatchee, was booked into jail about 10 p.m. on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, said Phil Stanley, jail administrator. The inmate had arranged to serve three days in jail on the charge.
He said no contraband was found on a pat-down search or on a later strip search. About 90 minutes later, with Stanger in a single holding jail, a jailer found a plastic bag and duct tape floating in the cell’s toilet. After being questioned by jailers, the man surrendered the contraband.
The man will be charged with another misdemeanor: introduction of contraband into the jail, Kruse said.

Nude man yells he's 'Jesus', causes accident

DARIEN, Conn.—Police said a naked man "yelling that he was Jesus" was the catalyst for a five-vehicle accident on Interstate 95 North in Darien that injured three people and slowed traffic for nearly six hours.
Police Sgt. Jeremiah Marron said officers responded to reports Saturday that a nude male was causing a disturbance on I-95. As police arrived, the man got into a car but police were able to pull the vehicle over.
Police say a tractor-trailer driver then slammed on the brakes to avoid another driver distracted by the highway commotion. The big rig jackknifed, careened into four cars and flipped over.
Rescue workers extricated the driver of the tractor-trailer.
The naked man's name was not released. It was not immediately known if he was charged.

R.I. Superior Court judge sentences Cook for multiple crimes

WARWICK — A Superior Court judge sentenced James E. Cook Friday to what amounts to life plus seven years for the 22 crimes from first-degree sexual assault to identity theft and drug possession to bestiality he was convicted of in March.
During the seven-day trial, prosecutors produced videotaped evidence of Cook, 47, performing sexual acts on two unconscious teenagers on separate occasions. Cook had also videotaped a sexual encounter that he orchestrated between a 17-year-old boy and a friend’s dog. His niece testified that Cook had sold drugs to her, and the state produced records and witnesses that showed Cook had used the identity of three other people to buy drugs on the Internet.
But it was Cook’s boldness that most bothered Judge Edward C. Clifton. Cook committed the crimes in 2008, while he was on home confinement after pleading guilty to previous identity theft charges that led to his disbarment.
“You didn’t get it then,” Clifton said in Kent County Superior Court. “You didn’t get the message that your conduct would lead you to the position you are in, and you went out and did these despicable crimes.”
Calling Cook “slick,” “sly” and “wicked,” Clifton sentenced Cook to life for 12 counts of first-degree sexual assault. While he is serving the life sentence, he will also be serving a 10-year sentence for felony conspiracy. He would be eligible for parole after serving 10 years at the Adult Correctional Institutions. If he is paroled from his life sentence, Cook would then begin serving 7 years of a 20-year sentence for abominable or detestable crimes against nature, or bestiality. At the same time, he would be serving a 5-year sentence for the identity fraud charges.
Cook also received concurrent 5-year suspended sentences, with 5 years of probation for each of the three counts of possessing drugs with the intent to deliver them. Cook was also ordered to register as a sex offender upon his release, and undergo sex-offender counseling. He is forbidden from contacting any of his sexual-assault victims, and will not be permitted to loiter near children or anywhere children congregate, such as public swimming pools or ice skating rinks.
He still faces federal child pornography charges stemming from other videotapes police officers found in his home.
Attorney General Patrick C. Lynch said the punishment was appropriate and “as stringent as [Cook’s] crimes are heinous.”
“We’ve been in this awhile and this defendant was as depraved, and his acts are as sickening as anything I’ve ever seen.”
In a statement to the court, Cook said he’s begun sex-offender treatment and regretted what he’d done. His attorney, Robert Craven, said Cook will file an appeal, but that the sentence came as no surprise.
“I heard a few sighs,” his attorney Robert Craven said. “I think there was some part of him that expected it.”

Murder Of Young Woman Rocks NoLibs
Body Found In Lot On North Orianna Street
PHILADELPHIA - A 21-year-old woman's body was found Wednesday morning in a Northern Liberties lot, Philadelphia police said.
According to investigators, the remains of Sabina Rose O'Donnell were discovered in a lot on the 1200 block of North Orianna Street.
She was pronounced dead at 9:55 a.m.
Detectives said she was robbed, beaten and strangled.
Police said O'Donnell was at El Camino bar Tuesday night with friends. She then went to a girlfriend's house and asked to borrow a bike to ride home. The attack is believed to have happened on her way home, around midnight, right near her apartment.
Fox 29's Sharon Crowley reported friends and neigbors were shocked and saddened by the tragic news. They remember a young woman who often rode her bike in the neighborhood every day.
A vigil was held Wednesday night, on North Fourth Street was attended by O'Donnell's friends and neighbors.
Police said they believe it was a stranger who killed her.

She was pronounced dead at 9:55 a.m.
Detectives said she was robbed, beaten and strangled.
Police said O'Donnell was at El Camino bar Tuesday night with friends. She then went to a girlfriend's house and asked to borrow a bike to ride home. The attack is believed to have happened on her way home, around midnight, right near her apartment.
Fox 29's Sharon Crowley reported friends and neigbors were shocked and saddened by the tragic news. They remember a young woman who often rode her bike in the neighborhood every day.
A vigil was held Wednesday night, on North Fourth Street was attended by O'Donnell's friends and neighbors.
Police said they believe it was a stranger who killed her.

The Return of the Vampire
The Return of the Vampire is a horror film released in 1944 by Columbia Pictures. The movie was directed by Lew Landers and was written by Randall Faye and Griffin Jay. The movie was filmed in Black and White and had a running time of 69 minutes. The film features a Vampire and a Werewolf as main characters. The film starred Bela Lugosi, Nina Foch, Frieda Inescort, and Miles Mander.
Plot summary
The plot of the movie is about the two encounters an English Lady,as well as her family and friends,have with an 18th century vampire in the shadow of two of history's most terrible wars.
The plot is actually divided into three connected parts. The first part takes place in October 1918. This segment is told in flashback. It details the efforts of two London doctors to find out what has caused the anemia of one of their patients. The doctors are Walter Saunders(Gilbert Emery) and Lady Jane Ainsley (Inescort). Their investigation puts them on the trail of Armand Tesla, a former Romanian scientist who became a Vampire after his death in 1744 because of his obsession with the supernatural. Tesla has moved to London and has a Werewolf servant named Andréas Obry(Matt Willis), and preys on the cities residents. Dr. Saunders reads an 18th century book that was written by Tesla, an authority on vampires,and learns how to find and get rid of them. By this time Dr. Saunders granddaughter,Nikki, is being preyed on by Tesla. Dr. Saunders and lady Jane track Tesla to his coffin during the day and stake him. This frees Andreas not only from servitude to Tesla but also being a werewolf. Andreas is given a job at lady Jane's clinic and counseling. Teslas coffin is buried in an unmarked grave in what is hoped will be forever.
The second part of the plot takes place 24 years later. This segment begins in the office of Sir Fredrick Fleet(Mander) of Scotland Yard. The entire first segment has been a record of the 1918 incident written by Dr. Saunders that Sir Fredrick was reading. Lady Jane is in the office with him and Dr. Saunders has since died. Sir Fredrick does not believe the Vampire tale and wants to investigate further. From here on the plot clearly takes place during World War Two. The rest of the segment describes each characters war time life. The Segment also describes Lady Jane's efforts to react to Sir Fredrick's investigation. Lady Jane's son,John(Roland Varno) has joined the RAF and Saunders granddaughter Nikki(Foch) has join the WAC. They are engaged to be married. Lady Jane continues to run her clinic where Andreas works. Lady Jane has become involved in helping people escape from the Concentration Camps.
The third and final part of the plot begins when Tesla's grave is disturbed by air raid dropped bombs. Gravediggers who have to rebury the overturned graves decide not to bury Armand with the stake, pulling it out. He then claws out of the ground. He seeks out Andreas. When Tesla find him he turns him back into a werewolf as well as his slave. Andreas now, after being turned back by Armand, has the power to change form at will. Tesla then sets out to take revenge on the family that had staked him. With Dr. Saunders gone Tesla decides to go after Lady Jane's loved ones. That means going after the now grown Nikki in order to turn her into his vampire bride. In order to aid Tesla with his plans,Andreas kills never seen Concentration camp refuge Dr. Hugo Bruckner when he enters the country at the time and place Lady Jane set up. This enables Andreas to give Tesla Bruckner's identification and clothes. Tesla then assumes the mans identity. The rest of the film describes Tesla and Andreas attempt to do that as well as Lady Jane and Sir Fredrick's attempts to stop them. In the end, Andreas is shot by Sir Fredrick while trying to give Nikki back to Armand. Dying from his wound, Andreas asks Tesla for aid. Tesla,now totally focused on Nikki, refuses to aid him. Andreas changes back into a human and finds a cross buried in corner of the church Armand has made a home. He pulls it out and starts forcing Armand up the stairs toward the sun. A bomb dropped from a passing German bomber lands in the church creating a huge hole in the side of the building. Andréas then drags the weakened Armand out of the church where he disintegrates forever in the sunlight. Teslas death releases Nikki from his spell. Then Andreas finally dies from his bullet wound.

Sack tapping, vodka eyeballing, and "little girl" parties.

For as long as he's toted his swaying nut sack, the human male has expressed extraordinary interest in his package's condition—and in the condition of his brothers' packages. Our cousin the chimpanzee takes this testicular interest to a primal extreme, says science journalist Jon Cohen, who has observed lower-status chimps in the wild grooming the gonads of higher-status chimps.
So the hot news broken late last month that a teen-age boy in Minnesota got carried away while playing the dominance game called "sack-tapping" and punched his 14-year-old acquaintance so hard that he had to have a damaged testicle removed should surprise nobody. For a sampler of sack-tapping coverage based on that incident, here's the May 28 report from the Minnesota NBC affiliate KARE-TV, the ABC News piece from May 28, the May 29 Times of India item on the scrotal punch, the June 2 blog item from the Los Angeles Times, and a June 3 dispatch from MSNBC.com. Back in January (if the YouTube time stamp is a guide), Judge Judy adjudicated a case of teen-on-teen sack-tapping that sent the punched to the doctor.
Is sack-tapping a trend? Yes, says ABC News: "The trend isn't restricted to Minnesota. A search on YouTube reveals hundreds of videos of young boys, teens, and even members of the U.S. Navy, catching a friend (or enemy) unaware with a quick punch or slap to the genitals." The Los Angeles Times calls the practice "the latest dangerous craze." MSNBC.com, consulting a poll of urologists that it commissioned, reports that "more teen boys are being treated after cringe-worthy attacks in which they're slapped or punched in the groin."
How new is sack-tapping? I remember taking shots to my crown jewels when I was a 1960s teenager better than I recall delivering them, but that's probably because intense pain fixes an incident into memory better than aggression does.
But we don't have to rely on my adolescence for evidence that playful ball-busting isn't breaking news. For instance, 12 years ago, in the first season of South Park (Episode 112, Feb. 18, 1998), Cartman urged Pip to play "Roshambo" with him. "I'll kick you in the nuts as hard as I can, then you kick me square in the nuts as hard as you can," said Cartman. To "Roshambo" entered the Online Slang Dictionary on Jan. 15, 1999, defined as "to get flicked in the testicles; usually causing extreme pain." A definition for "sack tap" appeared on the site on Sept. 27, 2002. "Nut tag" has been listed in the Urban Dictionary since Feb. 27, 2003.
MSNBC.com makes the greatest effort to show that sack-tapping is an out-of-control growing and dangerous trend. It reports a Consumer Product Safety Commission estimate that 8,000 males between 10 and 20 were treated for "pubic region injuries in the nation's emergency rooms last year." Those numbers were up from 7,300 in 2008 and 5,500 in 2007, according to MSNBC.com. (Both of those numbers are estimates, one would assume.)
Then MSNBC.com states, "Most of those injuries were caused during sports or by accidents involving bicycles or skateboards, a review of cases reveals." But if the cases under review are only estimates, how can MSNBC.com know what percentage were sports or wheel injuries? Likewise, when MSNBC.com goes on to claim that a "growing number" of pubic-region injury cases were caused by sack-tapping, why doesn't it show its calculations to prove that growth or indicate the period over which that number has grown?
The survey that MSNBC.com so proudly cites was conducted by the Truth on Call service, which asked 100 urologists whether they had seen any "sack-tapping" injuries among teens in the past year. Of the 100 urologists polled, 30 had seen such injuries. How reliable is such a survey in which the respondents self-select and are paid to answer questions related to their practices? If MSNBC.com really wanted to prove that sack-tapping injuries were on the rise, shouldn't it have asked the urologists whether those injuries were on the rise? (I failed to find any discussion of this dangerous craze in PubMed, the National Institutes of Health database of biomedical literature.)
Is sack-tapping a new and growing trend? I say, balls, and move on to the next bogus trend, "vodka eyeballing." This topic entered the media conversation on May 15 in a London Daily Mail piece describing the practice as "the latest drinking craze to sweep through Britain's universities." (Wanna know how to vodka eyeball? Pry eyelids apart and pour shot of vodka into your glazzies. You can guess how it feels.)
The Daily Mail claims that the trend started in the United States, "where it is a popular nightclub trick performed by waitresses for tips in resorts such as Las Vegas." How popular is the nightclub trick? So popular that the phase "vodka eyeballing" first appeared in Nexis in response to the Daily Mail article. The Daily Mail piece makes no effort to collate the U.K. anecdotes it's collected into anything that would approach a trend or a craze, and it undercuts its own assertion that vodka eyeballing originated in the United States by pointing to its depiction in the 2000 British film Kevin and Perry Go Large.
How many vodka eyeballers does the Daily Mail interview? One. How many people—other than the eyeballer interviewed—tell the Daily Mail they've witnessed vodka eyeballing? Again, one. The paper reports, "Another woman I spoke to this week recalled seeing her former boss … 'drinking' vodka through his eye at an advertising party."
Gawker took the vodka eyeballing trend down on May 16 with a brief swipe, noting that the primary evidence that eyeballing is trending is the depictions of it on YouTube. Yet news organizations continue to peddle the Daily Mail's nonsense—Washington Examiner, May 25; WCBS-TV, May 27; Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, May 30; Toronto Sun via CHealth, May 31; and others.
As you can imagine, vodka eyeballing is hugely dangerous. Only a moron should consume his beverages in such a manner—or read articles about it.
The final entry in our bogus trend smorgasbord is served by our friends in the Great White North. In late May, newspapers in Vancouver, Chilliwack, and Toronto warned readers to be on the lookout for "little girl" parties in which sexual predators invite middle-school girls to parties, get them drunk, and then deflower them.
Even though the Royal Canadian Mounted Police helped sound the original alarm, there appears to be no evidence that a little-girl party has ever taken place. The Saskatoon Star Phoenix put the record straight on May 29, reporting, "Chilliwack RCMP spokeswoman Const. Tracy Wolbeck said police do not know of any students who have participated in such parties or any occasions when these parties actually occurred."

Father and son charged in Contra Costa killing

(06-04) 14:08 PDT RICHMOND -- A father and son have been charged in the August slaying of a Richmond man who had brawled with the younger suspect twice, authorities said today.
Charles Michael Titlow, 48, and Charles Robert Titlow, 21, were arrested Thursday on charges that they killed 20-year-old Ricardo Colina II of Richmond. Both live in the Tara Hills neighborhood, the unincorporated area where Colina was shot.
Colina was killed while walking on San Pablo Avenue near O'Conner Drive the afternoon of Aug. 19. He had been involved in two fights with the younger Titlow, including one on the day of the killing, said Deputy District Attorney Barry Grove.
"The father came to the scene at the behest of the son and shot the victim," Grove said.
Reached by phone today, a relative of the defendants said, "I have nothing to say about this."
On his Facebook page, the younger Titlow said he was a 2007 graduate of Pinole Valley High School and an apprentice at a Concord scaffolding company. He described himself as a "good ol boy who dont give a f-."
"So I like riding harleys and dirtbikes. im a good guy atleast i try to but some ppl just dont see it but owell their loss," he wrote. "so if you wanna know anything else about me its easy just ASK YO MOMMA!"
Prosecutors charged the elder Titlow with murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He is being held at Contra Costa County Jail in Martinez in lieu of more than $2 million bail. His son was charged with murder and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

Boy, 7, goes on animal killing spree in Australian zoo
The director of an Australian zoo said on Friday he is "horrified" after a seven-year-old boy broke into the zoo, fed an assortment of animals to a crocodile and clubbed various lizards to death with a rock.
The boy's attacks happened early Wednesday and were captured on a zoo security camera, said Rex Neindorf, director of the Alice Springs Reptile Centre in Australia's Northern Territory.
The boy, whose identity cannot be revealed, jumped the zoo's security fence before bludgeoning three lizards to death with a rock, including the zoo's much-loved 20-year-old goanna, which he then fed to "Terry," an 11-foot, 440-pound saltwater crocodile, said Neindorf.
The boy also threw several live animals into the crocodile's enclosure, and at one point tried to clamber over the fence surrounding the enclosure in an effort to get closer to the crocodile.
A total of 13 animals, including a turtle, bearded dragons and a thorny devil were killed as a result of the attacks, said Neindorf.
"We're horrified that anyone can do this and saddened by the age of the child," said Neindorf.
The animals, worth about $5,500, weren't rare but they will be hard to replace, he said.
Commenting on the surveillance footage at the scene, Neindorf said the boy's face appeared to be largely blank during his rampage.
"It was like he was playing a game."
The zoo's security system, which relies on sensors to detect intruders, probably didn't spot the boy because of his small size, said Neindorf.
No charges for boy, parents face lawsuit
Under Northern Territory law, no child under the age of 10 can be criminally charged, so Alice Springs police will not be pressing charges against the boy.
But Neindorf said he will sue the boy's parents.
"I just want people to learn that they can't let their children go and run amok," Neindorf said.
"If we can't put the blame onto the child, then someone has to accept the responsibility."

Loyal Hayes accused of killing John and Joseph Hooker, putting bodies in shopping cart
Updated (3:24 p.m. June 2 from original story on 7 a.m. June 1): A witness told police that Loyal R. Hayes invited John and Joseph Hooker to his mother's house at 4511 Monroe so he could rob and kill them.
But Hayes, 23, was allegedly worried about getting blood inside his mother's house, the witness claimed. So he took the Hooker brothers outside. But there were too many people outside. So he took them to the basement where he allegedly shot them multiple times. He then wrapped their bodies in garbage bags and stuffed them in a shopping cart, which he left behind a home at 4501 Askew last Thursday
Hayes is now charged with two counts of murder and two counts of armed criminal action in the deaths of John Hooker, 21, and Joseph Hooker, 19.
A call to the TIPS Hotline led police to the bodies behind a home. From there, detectives followed a trail of blood drops all the way to a duplex at 4511 Monroe. Inside the duplex' basement, they found two spent bullets and a blood trail leading up the stairs and out of the home's back door. They also found duct tape and several garbage bags.
The witness told police that Hayes wasn't responsible for burning the victims' car. A second witness told police that she helped Hayes' two brothers burn it.
In an interview with police on May 28, Hayes claimed he had no idea who killed the Hooker brothers. Hayes reasoned that sometimes his family leaves the backdoor of their home unlocked, so someone could have sneaked in and killed them.
Asked about the witness who claimed he'd told her that he robbed and killed John and Joseph Hooker, Hayes claimed "he was being held captive and did not admit any involvement in the murders to her."
Hayes is being held on $1 million bond.

3 charged in brawl over demons, religion

COLLINSVILLE — A father and his two sons landed in jail after talk of religion and demons at a Memorial Day weekend bonfire led to a drunken brawl, authorities say.
Prosecutors charged Timothy Neal, 44, of St. Charles, and twin sons Timothy Wade Neal and Daniel Allan Neal, 18, of Elk Grove Village, Ill., with felony mob action on Tuesday. Their bond is set at $30,000 each, according to court documents.
The Madison County Sheriff's Department said deputies were called to the 1200 block of Clifton Street near Collinsville around 4 a.m. Saturday to respond to a report of battery.
"The victim had been talking about religion and demons when the other three became upset and started whipping up on him," said Madison County Sheriff's Capt. Brad Wells.
Wells said he didn't know what specific religious issue incited the fracas, but that talk of demons apparently put the fight over the edge. He said that eyewitnesses support the victim's claims.
The victim, of Collinsville, had injuries to his face and was taken to a hospital. Police said the victim had never met the alleged attackers prior to Saturday's incident.
The twin sons were also charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Man Accused of Trying to Set Wife on Fire

SPRINGER, Oklahoma -- A Carter County man is accused of trying to burn down his wife's home near Springer and set her on fire.
Undersheriff Milton Anthony said James Miller, 38, broke into the mobile home in search of estranged wife, Vicki, and set the bed on fire.
"He had took a can of gasoline and poured it all over his wife and was attempting to set fire to her at which time she ran out of the house, got in her car, and left," Anthony said.
Miller was arrested and now faces felony arson charges.
"She was pretty shook up, which I think normally anybody would be that went through an ordeal like that," Anthony said.
Vicki Miller is seeking a protective order and staying out of sight.
James Miller remained in the Carter County jail Friday afternoon. His bond is set at $75,000.

Woman fined for driving while wearing burka
A woman has been fined for driving while wearing a burka because the garment "reduced her field of vision".

Police stopped the Muslim woman during routine drink-drive checks on motorists in Louvroil, northern France.
The Islamic driver had not been drinking but instead officers issued her with a £17 fine for breaking road safety rules.
Two months ago, a separate woman was pulled over in Nantes, western France, for driving in a full face veil and also fined.
The latest incident comes as French MPs prepare to vote on whether to impose a full ban on wearing burkas and niqabs later this year.
Moves to ban the burka in France come after a year of heated national debate and mounting public tensions over the issue.
Last month, France's reported its first known case of 'burka rage', when a female lawyer ripped off a Muslim woman's veil in a bust-up in a clothes shop.
And last year a Muslim woman took her local council to court after she was banned from wearing a 'burqini' swimsuit at her local pool for 'hygiene reasons'.
The proposed law that hiding your face in public is 'an offence to the nation's values' has already been approved by the French cabinet and will go before MPs in July.
Under the rules, women who hide their faces or husbands that force them do so will face steep fines and prison sentences.
Men could be fined up to £13,000 and jailed for a year for forcing their wives to wear a burka, while women would face a smaller fine of around 130 pounds and ordered to undergo 'citizenship classes'.
France has already banned wearing any religious garb such as veils, Jewish skullcaps and crucifixes in schools.
Belgium has already imposed a full ban and there is widespread support for a similar law in the Netherlands, while Switzerland recently voted to ban the construction of new minarets.

Fake mourner dined out at funerals

A Wellington funeral home has finally stepped in and stopped a fake mourner who was gatecrashing funerals, eating the food on offer, and even taking home leftovers.
The "grim eater" attended up to four funerals a week during March and April before the Harbour City Funeral Home decided he had gone too far, and stopped him, the Dominion Post reported.
Director Danny Langstraat said the company eventually grew concerned enough to take a photograph of the man and distribute it to its branches.
"He was showing up to funeral after funeral, and without a doubt he didn't know the deceased."
The man, thought to be aged in his 40s, went to different churches and venues around the eastern suburbs, including Miramar, Rongotai and Kilbirnie.
"We saw him three or four times in a week. And certainly he had a backpack with some Tupperware containers so when people weren't looking, he was stocking up."
The man was "always very quiet and polite, and did as the rest of the mourners did in paying his respects".
Mr Langstraat said he was respectably dressed and did not look like someone who lived on the streets.
But he did suggest the man could have had mental health issues, as he was not discreet about taking the food.
He stopped coming after a staff member took the man aside, telling him he could still come to funerals but could not take food home with him.
Funeral Directors Association president Tony Garing said it was difficult to stop people from coming, or call their behaviour theft, because funerals were usually public events.

Horrifying 'Little Girl Sex Cult'

Police are again investigating John Mark Karr, who falsely confessed to killing JonBenet Ramsey. Diane Dimond on a trail of death threats, gender switches—and a cult called "The Immaculates."
The photograph on the Washington State's driver's license features a woman with short dark hair, stylishly feathered around her face. Her makeup appears professionally applied over smooth, soft skin. Her bangs tickle the tops of her thin horned-rimmed prescription glasses, her earlobes sparkle with a small pair of sparkly studs.
“If you cost me my little girls I will hunt you down and kill you.”The license is issued to Delia Alexis Reich, the female identity of a man, I have learned, known to the world as John Mark Karr, infamous for confessing—falsely—to killing little beauty-pageant contestant JonBenet Ramsey. Karr/Reich dropped out of sight in 2006, after briefly dominating national headlines, but the former elementary-school teacher's dark, dangerous behavior has apparently continued, even as police and federal agents overlooked ominous, predatory warning signs.
The Daily Beast has spent several weeks tracking Karr/Reich—it’s unclear whether he had a sex change operation, but a Seattle court officially switched the gender identity in December 2008—scouring through emails he recently sent to a host of people, including this reporter, as well as court and police records and disturbing audiotapes and Skype conversations. Among the revelations:
• One former "fiancée" says that as recently as two months ago, Karr/Reich enlisted her to recruit girls 6 years old or under, preferably brunette, for a sex cult she called "The Immaculates."
• A police probe of Karr/Reich was more expansive than originally thought—a 2001 child-porn case against him was dropped after Karr's computer was thrown out by authorities—involving molestation suspicions, four states and the FBI.
• Karr/Reich's first wife told police that she married him when she was 13, and was forced into a series of dangerous, degrading sex acts.
• Karr/Reich maintained a correspondence with the killer of 12-year-old Polly Klaas, Richard Allen Davis.
• Karr/Reich continues to maintain that she killed JonBenet Ramsey.
• At least two police departments—in San Francisco and Seattle—are investigating Karr/Reich.
The Daily Beast made repeated attempts to communicate with Karr/Reich.
On May 17, he was informed, via his private email address, that his ex-fiancée has accused her of encouraging others to recruit a cult of young girls for sex, and threatening her life, sharing emails to back up her story.
At 4:53 p.m., Karr/Reich responded, "Do you make a difference in the lives of children with your research or do you only blast pedophiles and talk the rhetoric of the severe punishment they deserve? Aren't the children the matter at hand and not the pedophiles? Do you consider me a pedophile?
"You'd have to prove that with more than rumor. If you do accuse me of such, I deny the accusation emphatically."
A short while later, he wrote again, "In 2006, I confessed to the whole world who I was…. Do good for little boys and little girls, Ms. Dimond. I know you will. We're on the same team."
And then the communication stopped.
The latest accusations involve Samantha Spiegel, Karr's former elementary-school student, who until two months ago, was corresponding regularly with Karr/Reich, who implored Spiegel to be on the lookout for suitable candidates for "the Immaculates," writing of his desire to "taste young sex again," according to her email records.
"Ideally [Karr/Reich wanted] people with children or children themselves, like me," Spiegel, now 19, tells The Daily Beast. "I was a recruit, not only a recruiter. There was no talk of kidnapping. I was only supposed to be a means to give him access to children…. And, yes, he wanted to have sex with them."
Dismissed in 2006 as a kook—following a media circus that involved his JonBenet confession, his extradition from Thailand and then the declaration by Boulder, Colorado, police that his bizarre claims were phony—Karr/Reich has had an active four years.
Karr/Reich's first stop in 2006, after leaving Boulder, was Sonoma County, California, where he faced outstanding charges from a 2001 child-porn case, which had led him to go on the run to Thailand in the first place. Those charges were ultimately dropped after local prosecutors admitted that Karr's confiscated computer had been destroyed.
A Sonoma County Sheriff's report obtained by The Daily Beast, however, reveals that in 2001 detectives weren't simply investigating Karr/Reich for possession of child porn. An informant supplied emails and ultimately, police-sanctioned tape recordings, of Karr/Reich waxing poetic about his lust for his young female students. "It is too bad you never got to enjoy a bath time with a little girl," he wrote in one. "It really is a wonderful experience."
In addition, the police report reveals detectives played a tape for Karr/Reich's second wife, Lara, in which he "described passionately kissing the young girl all over her body." This investigation probed Karr/Reich's actions in three other states: Georgia, Alabama, and Colorado.
On April 16, 2001, a statement was taken from Karr/Reich's first wife, identified only as Q.S. She claims she married Karr/Reich in Alabama when she was 13, a marriage marked by "fear and intimidation," after Karr/Reich forged her age on their marriage certificate. She said her husband used to dress up in her clothing (dresses, nylons, and bras) and wear his own makeup. He forced her to wear pigtails and be pushed on playground swings against her will. He ordered her to smile a certain way, with her mouth open, "because it made her look like when she was younger." She reported Karr/Reich insisted on having sex mornings, afternoons, and evenings, "no matter what."
In one passage in the police report, Q.S. told of her husband hauling her down to the basement of the family home in Georgia and telling her that "he had killed some young children" and buried them there. Karr wanted her to urinate and defecate on the floor so they could have sex in the excrement. Q.S. says she refused. Their marriage was annulled less than a year after their June 1984 wedding.
Also in 2001, FBI San Francisco Sex Crimes Bureau Special Agent Elizabeth Castanedo launched her own computer investigation into Karr/Reich's activities. Two profilers labeled Karr/Reich as a man with a "definite proclivity toward pedophilia."
The 2001 police report also details Karr/Reich's fascination with the contemporary child kidnapping and murder case of 12-year-old Polly Klaas. Karr was consumed with getting to know her killer, Richard Allen Davis. He wrote to the informant: "When you talked about the way you thought Richard killed Polly at the end of a perfect love-making session as part of a ritual, well, I thought about how many times I wished that had happened to me." When police went into Karr/Reich's home with a search warrant on April 3, 2001, they found letters from Davis to Karr/Reich, photographs of Karr/Reich wearing makeup, hundreds of photos of small children and a .38 semiautomatic pistol.
But once the district attorney dropped the porn case in 2006, because of the mishandled evidence, the wider investigation, stale for five years, effectively shut down.
Now free from legal scrutiny, Karr/Reich surfaced in rural Georgia at the home of his father. He became engaged to a cocktail waitress named Brooke Simmons, a 23 year old with a 4-year-old daughter, and announced to the television program Inside Edition that he was putting aside his sex-change hormone treatments because Brooke wanted him to.
After that relationship ended, Karr/Reich's primary interest once again focused exclusively on "his little girls, his little Princesses," as he wrote in an email to an acquaintance during this time. In one taped telephone conversation obtained by The Daily Beast, he frequently refers "to the little girl in Europe I had sex with," but in the same breath says the girl's mother sanctioned the sex.
In the phone call, made in October 2007, Karr/Reich begs to be allowed to talk about JonBenet, how he killed her and to read from what he calls "my manuscript." He assumes his alter-character, "Daxis," and his voice turns husky and sexually charged as he reads.
"Oh, God, I am back in her bedroom but this time, she is here. The bed I once draped myself across is now sweetly occupied by my little Princess…. I must linger over your peaceful slumber for just a few moments before I take you…. her nose is so darling, soon to smell her lover."
While Karr/Reich and his family have recently told people she is "living in Europe" or "has just moved to China," multiple sources familiar with her online habits say that she is living in Seattle.
Those Internet habits have included recruiting followers to try to procure young girls, according to Spiegel, her former fourth-grade student at San Francisco's Convent of the Sacred Heart School who became part of a group Karr/Reich dubbed the "Private Protectors," who could deal with the outside world while Karr/Reich remained cloaked in his new female persona.
"All the kids were in love with Mr. Karr," Spiegel tells The Daily Beast. He was the teacher every child, "could hardly wait to see every day, [because] he's just so good with children."
Karr didn't last long in that job—he was mysteriously fired after just 20 days—but when Spiegel, who had developed a drug addiction, recognized him on television, as he was extradited from Thailand in the Ramsey case, she reached out. He immediately glommed onto her, despite still being engaged to Simmons at the time.
"I had to listen to him all the time talk about how heartbroken and bitter he was about Brooke," Spiegel says.
It didn't take long for Karr/Reich to start calling Spiegel his fiancée. He sent her hundreds of emails each week. "It's scary looking back now," Spiegel says. "I would have sheltered him, or killed for him to be completely honest…" and her voice trails off in a sheepish tone.
Spiegel's parents saw her dangerous behavior, as well as a simultaneous drug addiction, and placed her in a treatment center for 16 months, away from Karr/Reich's influence.
But upon her return home this past December, the email flow continued. Reich was writing under numerous noms du plume, including Daxis the Conqueror, Drk Prnz (Dark Prince), and Alexis. She would talk about becoming a woman—but still insisted on recruits for "The Immaculates," writing two months ago, at 12:51 p.m. on March 29th, that "I still want that little (girl) cult!"
On April 10, at 2:53 p.m., she wrote: "I can help you, [with drugs] Samantha. But if I find you have been deceiving me I will kill you and laugh as you die. Do you understand me?"
When Spiegel didn't respond quickly, another email followed 17 minutes later:
"Give me your house phone number. If you cost me my little girls I will hunt you down and kill you."
Emails like these caused Spiegel to report the death threats to the San Francisco Police Department. She then filed papers for a civil harassment restraining order, claiming the threats were "continued ongoing death threats; threats of sexual exploitation of children; and death threats toward other known associates." She specifically listed her parents and Brooke Simmons as potential targets.
Spiegel's attorney, former Los Angeles sex-crimes prosecutor Robin Sax, terms Karr/Reich "crazy dangerous," and believes Karr/Reich has other "personal protectors" under her influence. (Note: Sax and Spiegel will be appearing on the Today show on Wednesday morning to discuss John Mark Karr.)
After taking Spiegel's police report, San Francisco authorities alerted the Seattle Sherriff's Department, tasked with serving a restraining order. While Karr/Reich's last known location was a women's homeless shelter in the Pioneer Square area of downtown Seattle, they have been since unable to locate him. But The Daily Beast has independently confirmed that he remains inexorably tied to her computer keyboard, communicating with others via the Internet.

12 Dead in England Shooting Rampage

At least 12 people have been killed and 25 injured by a gunman who went on a rampage in Northern England before killing himself.
The suspect, identified as local taxi driver Derrick Bird, apparently drove through several small towns, shooting as he went. Police are investigating 30 different crime scenes and carefully are tracing the suspect's route, concerned that they could find more bodies.
The first shooting occurred at 9:35 a.m. GMT, when Bird opened fire on Duke Street in the Cumbrian town of Whitehaven. Among the victims was a young woman.
"She died in our arms, we tried to shake her and said, 'Come on, come on, the ambulance is coming,' but she wasn't conscious," eyewitness Barry Cross told the BBC News.
"They were serious gunshot wounds," Cross said. "It looked like he must've seen her and pulled over, walked out with his sniper and shot her point blank in the back of her head."
Before running to help her, Cross had seen Bird.
"He had this absolutely huge, like, sniper rifle," Cross said. "It was almost touching the floor, massive scope and everything."
Terrified eyewitnesses described seeing 52-year-old Bird driving through Whitehaven with a gun pointed out of his car window, firing indiscriminately.
Every armed police unit from the area was called in for the manhunt and extra support was brought in from surrounding areas. Helicopters and search dogs sought Bird.
"The search has now extended to the Ambleside, Coniston and central lakes areas, so police are urging all members of the public in these areas and across the West Lakes area from Whitehaven to Ravenglass to go indoors and stay there until further notice," Cumbrian police said.
The area of the shootings in northern England, known as the Lake District, is very popular with tourists. After police warnings, hotel and pub owners rounded up guests and walkers nearby, keeping them away from the windows.
Bodies Strewn Along Roadside
Bird headed for the villages of Egremont and Seascale, where eyewitnesses reported seeing bodies by the side of the road and on a bridge.
"At present there are two people dead and one seriously injured in Seascale." Dr Barrie Walker, who was called to the scene, told the BBC.
"The second person was on a bicycle and was shot on the bike. The person who is seriously injured was in his car, driving along. It looks as though he was shot through the window."
Bodies were seen strewn along the side of the road in Egremont.
Bird also reportedly wound down his window and shot a farmer point blank as he trimmed hedges with his uncle near Gosforth.
The rampage ended when Bird left his car near the village of Boot, headed into the woods and killed himself.
"The body of Derrick Bird was located in a wooded area near Boot at around 1:40 p.m. today," Deputy Chief Constable Stuart Hyde of Cumbria Police told reporters. "At this time we believe that he took his own life. No shots were fired by police officers."
Officials are appealing for anyone who might have seen Bird in the past 24 hours to contact them. The motive for the murders is not yet clear.
"We are still at a very early stage in our investigation and we are not able to really understand the motivation behind it or establish whether this was a premeditated or random attack," Hyde said.
Colleagues and neighbors have expressed surprise at Bird's behavior.
"I have known him for 15 years," Ryan Dempsey, 26, who lived two doors away from Bird, told BBC News. "He was always pleasant, always had time to say hello. As far as I'm concerned, this is completely out of character. I had never seen him in a bad mood."
British Prime Minister David Cameron said he was "alarmed and shocked by the events unfolding in Cumbria."
"When lives and communities are suddenly shattered in this way, our thoughts should be with all those caught up in these tragic events, especially the families and friends of those killed or injured," Cameron said.
Shooting incidents are rare in the U.K., which has stringent gun laws. The last major incident occurred in 1996 in Dunblane, where Thomas Hamilton killed 16 children and a teacher at a kindergarten in 1996. In 1987, Michael Ryan killed 16 people, including his mother, in the English town of Hungerford.

Murdered woman called 911 as killers approached

DENVER - New information obtained by 9Wants to Know reveals the woman set to testify in an attempted murder case called for help after two people broke into her house, and was talking to a 911 operator as she was killed.
Kalonniann Clark was killed Dec. 6, 2006, days before she was to testify against Brian Hicks in an attempted murder case.
Prosecutors believe Hicks, while in jail, asked Willie Clark to murder Kalonniann Clark. Hicks and Willie Clark have not gone to trial on that case. Willie Clark has been convicted of the Jan. 1, 2007 murder of Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams.
Willie Clark is serving life in prison for the murder. Kalonniann Clark and Willie Clark are not related.
9Wants to Know's requests for an audio copy of the 911 call were denied by the Denver District Attorney's office.
"We don't discuss or release possible evidence in an upcoming trial," Denver District Attorney spokeswoman Lynn Kimbrough said Wednesday.
New court documents obtained by 9Wants to Know show on the night of Kalonniann Clark's murder, two men broke into her house and claimed to be police. Kalonniann Clark's husband, Nicholas James, told officers he heard a "loud noise followed by men yelling that they were the police."
When James confronted the men, he realized they were wearing masks and were not police officers.
The men ordered James down to the floor in the kitchen, court documents say.
The men appeared uninterested in him and instead went after Kalonniann Clark, James told investigators.
James then told officers he heard gunfire.
Denver's chief medical examiner determined Kalonniann Clark died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Willie Clark, Shun Birch and Brian Hicks are charged in her murder.
James' description of the two suspects' height, weight and ethnicity is similar to those of Shun Birch and Willie Clark, according to court records and Colorado Bureau of Investigation records reviewed by 9Wants to Know.
At the time of Kalonniann Clark's murder, Hicks was in jail awaiting trial for allegedly trying to kill her the year before on June 12, 2005 outside a Denver night club.
Police say Hicks repeatedly shot in the direction of Kalonniann Clark before officers found him hiding a block away from the shooting wearing a bulletproof vest. He had bullets in his pants from the same type of gun used to shoot at Kalonniann Clark minutes before, court documents say.
Kalonniann Clark had received threats warning her not to testify in the attempted murder case against Hicks, police say.
9Wants to Know has also learned Denver Police recently spoke with a man who says he heard Willie Clark admit he had "taken out some chick" and also admit to killing Darrent Williams. The witness tells officers Clark made the admission at a local business.
Denver Police detectives obtained a search warrant last month for a cell phone that has been inside Willie Clark's SUV since his arrest after the murder of Darrent Williams.
In court paperwork, detectives asked for permission to search the phone for telephone numbers, text messages and other information.
The cell phone could help corroborate the statements of the man who claims he heard Willie Clark admit to two killings, according to police.
Hicks is set to go on trial on Aug. 3. Birch is set to go on trial Aug. 31. Willie Clark's trial date for Kalonniann Clark's murder has not been set.
Denver prosecutors announced Dec. 1, 2009 they will not seek the death penalty against the three men.
Willie Clark was sentenced April 30 to life in prison without a chance of parole plus an additional 1,152 years for murdering Darrent Williams.
A jury convicted Clark of first-degree murder and 16 counts of attempted first-degree murder on March 11.
Willie Clark fired a gun into Williams' Hummer limousine in the early morning hours of Jan. 1, 2007.
The shooting came after a several altercations between Williams, other Denver Broncos players and a group of gang members at the Shelter nightclub.

Prosecutors believe Hicks, while in jail, asked Willie Clark to murder Kalonniann Clark. Hicks and Willie Clark have not gone to trial on that case. Willie Clark has been convicted of the Jan. 1, 2007 murder of Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams.
Willie Clark is serving life in prison for the murder. Kalonniann Clark and Willie Clark are not related.
9Wants to Know's requests for an audio copy of the 911 call were denied by the Denver District Attorney's office.
"We don't discuss or release possible evidence in an upcoming trial," Denver District Attorney spokeswoman Lynn Kimbrough said Wednesday.
New court documents obtained by 9Wants to Know show on the night of Kalonniann Clark's murder, two men broke into her house and claimed to be police. Kalonniann Clark's husband, Nicholas James, told officers he heard a "loud noise followed by men yelling that they were the police."
When James confronted the men, he realized they were wearing masks and were not police officers.
The men ordered James down to the floor in the kitchen, court documents say.
The men appeared uninterested in him and instead went after Kalonniann Clark, James told investigators.
James then told officers he heard gunfire.
Denver's chief medical examiner determined Kalonniann Clark died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Willie Clark, Shun Birch and Brian Hicks are charged in her murder.
James' description of the two suspects' height, weight and ethnicity is similar to those of Shun Birch and Willie Clark, according to court records and Colorado Bureau of Investigation records reviewed by 9Wants to Know.
At the time of Kalonniann Clark's murder, Hicks was in jail awaiting trial for allegedly trying to kill her the year before on June 12, 2005 outside a Denver night club.
Police say Hicks repeatedly shot in the direction of Kalonniann Clark before officers found him hiding a block away from the shooting wearing a bulletproof vest. He had bullets in his pants from the same type of gun used to shoot at Kalonniann Clark minutes before, court documents say.
Kalonniann Clark had received threats warning her not to testify in the attempted murder case against Hicks, police say.
9Wants to Know has also learned Denver Police recently spoke with a man who says he heard Willie Clark admit he had "taken out some chick" and also admit to killing Darrent Williams. The witness tells officers Clark made the admission at a local business.
Denver Police detectives obtained a search warrant last month for a cell phone that has been inside Willie Clark's SUV since his arrest after the murder of Darrent Williams.
In court paperwork, detectives asked for permission to search the phone for telephone numbers, text messages and other information.
The cell phone could help corroborate the statements of the man who claims he heard Willie Clark admit to two killings, according to police.
Hicks is set to go on trial on Aug. 3. Birch is set to go on trial Aug. 31. Willie Clark's trial date for Kalonniann Clark's murder has not been set.
Denver prosecutors announced Dec. 1, 2009 they will not seek the death penalty against the three men.
Willie Clark was sentenced April 30 to life in prison without a chance of parole plus an additional 1,152 years for murdering Darrent Williams.
A jury convicted Clark of first-degree murder and 16 counts of attempted first-degree murder on March 11.
Willie Clark fired a gun into Williams' Hummer limousine in the early morning hours of Jan. 1, 2007.
The shooting came after a several altercations between Williams, other Denver Broncos players and a group of gang members at the Shelter nightclub.

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – A 32-year-old Pasco County man who called 911 to complain about his mother is facing criminal charges. According to a sheriff's office arrest report, Charles Dennison told a deputy that his mother took his beer and he wanted her arrested. Dennison was reportedly "very intoxicated" when the deputy arrived at the New Port Richey home.
Dennison told the deputy that he would keep calling emergency responders if his mother wasn't charged. He has been charged with making false 911 calls and was jailed on $150 bond.

Yet, if the blacks and asians are taught properly; then, they would understand that America only recieved 19% of all slaves from Africa--and that it was the Africans probably through the influence of the Sultan from the Middle East that sold their own children to the colonists. In fact, during the High Caliphate era, Janissary Jews were recruited boys given freely from their mothers to the Muslims under the Sultan, so that their child could have a chance at a better life, for then, that was the only way a pauper would ever find a better hope.
If you are African or Asian or Polynesian, and you wantto blame someone for slavery--look no further than the Islamic Sultan or possibly the Ethiopian Christians since they had closed ties with Muhammad, not your white neighbor.
I have never heard an African American blame an African native for slavery even though--it was an actual trade, they were bought and the slaves were sold by their own family!
The only literature that I've read that even mentioned slavery then of works written then was Voltair's Candide. Man accused of killing kitten after it pulled plug on his video game

STAUNTON — Police arrested a Staunton man late Monday night after he reportedly killed a kitten that interrupted his video game, according to an arrest report.
Bruce Jamar Walston, 21, of 128 College Circle, Apt. 1, is charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty and disorderly conduct.
Staunton authorities were called to Walston's apartment at 9 p.m. after his girlfriend phoned 911. Police said Walston apparently became enraged when the woman's kitten disconnected his video game. Walston is accused of killing the kitten by hurling it against a wall.
"In front of her kids," said Officer Lisa Klein of the Staunton Police Department.
Walston, who had been free on bond in connection with a January breaking and entering charge, is being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail in Verona.
Debbie Caywood, director of the Augusta Regional SPCA, said her organization doesn't come across physically abused animals on a regular basis, and said accounts of torturing animals "is very rare in this area as far as what we deal with."
Police arrested Walston earlier this year after he was suspected of assaulting two people at his apartment building and beating one of the victims with a vacuum sweeper. According to police, Walston and Sylvestor Gentry, 25, of Staunton, kicked in a door at Apt. 3, knocking down a 36-year-old man who was beaten with the sweeper. Klein said a 54-year-old woman also was knocked to the floor, where she was punched and kicked.
"She was struck several times," Klein said.
Walston and Gentry have a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 25 in Staunton General District Court on felony charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit assault.

Lion in Russia's Tambov Zoo mauls 4-year-old girl, sending her into coma

A four-year-old girl was left physically beaten and emotionally scarred after a female lion in a Russian zoo pulled her into the cage and used her as a toy.
The child, who is now in a coma, seems to have been attacked while her grandmother was taking her picture next to the lion cage, London's Daily Mail reports.
She has been identified only by her given name, Nastya.
Witnesses say the lioness reached out from its cage and pulled Nastya in through the bars.
"It stretched out a paw and grabbed the girl, playing with her like a toy, tearing her neck and arm," a policeman said. "The girl lost consciousness from the severe pain."
The lioness tore Nastya's windpipe, severed her left arm and wrecked her shoulder, leaving her in a state of shock as well as physical pain.
A zookeeper and a band of visitors, including Nastya's grandfather, ultimately forced the animal away from Nastya by poking it with metal rods and spraying it with a hose, according to one witness.
The girl is now breathing with help from a machine, Dr. Viktor Shishlyannikov said.
One zookeeper said the attack was out of character for the lioness, who has been in the zoo for two years.
"She is so sweet, everybody could stroke her," the keeper said. "She has never been aggressive."
The zoo is investigating how security measures failed to keep Nastya out of the lioness's reach.

The husband, a 41-year-old taxi driver, and his 25-year-old wife were sentenced to two years in prison, but the woman's term was suspended because she is pregnant.
The couple played at Internet cafes on average 10 hours every day and bottle-fed their baby only once a day, prosecutors said in an affidavit.
The girl, who was born prematurely and weighed 5 pounds (2.25 kilograms), was often fed rotten formula and was beaten when she cried out of hunger, the affidavit said.
They found her dead when they returned to their home in Suwon, just south of Seoul, after an all-night gaming session last September, the ruling said. They hid at a relative's home after a autopsy found the baby died of malnutrition.
"This constitutes an inhumane crime where the defendants abandoned even the most basic responsibilities as parents, and is unforgivable beyond any excuse or reason," the Suwon District Court said in the ruling.
The mother will avoid jail time if she stays out of trouble for three years. The couple, who have only been identified by their surnames, Kim, have seven days to appeal.
The case shocked South Korea and raised concern over the severity of online gaming and Internet addiction in the nation of 49 million. The government says there are 2 million "Internet addicts" in the nation considered one of the world's most technologically wired.

A man accidentally shot himself in the testicles at Lowe's Home Improvement store in Lynnwood Sunday afternoon, police said.
The man's handgun, which was in the waistband of his pants, went off at about 12:30 p.m. — an apparent "accidental discharge," according to Shannon Sessions, a Lynnwood police spokeswoman.
"It made a loud noise and scared a lot of people in the store," Sessions said. "I believe he shot himself in the testicles and he also had some injuries to his leg and foot. He was obviously in shock."
Nobody else was hurt and no one appeared to be with the man, she said.
Police and fire responded, and the man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle before police had a chance to interview him extensively. Sessions had no further details about the man.
Lynnwood police are continuing to investigate but "at this point it does look like it's accidental," Sessions said. A manager at Lowe's said store personnel are not commenting on the incident.

BEIJING — A man firing a small automatic weapon burst into a court office in central China on Tuesday, fatally shooting three judges and wounding three other people before killing himself, an official said.
The shooting spree was one of at least three violent incidents reported Tuesday, the latest in a spate of public attacks — including several on schoolchildren — that has shocked China.
In the court incident, the attacker was identifed as a 46-year-old man who the official Xinhua News Agency reported held a grudge against the court over a ruling it had made in a property division dispute three years ago between him and his wife, who were going through a divorce.
Xinhua identified the assailant as Zhu Jun, a 46-year-old head of security at the Lingling district post office in Yongzhou in Hunan province. He apparently told his co-worker he was taking the automatic weapon and two pistols for an inspection by city authorities then headed to the District People's Court, the official Xinhua News Agency reported.
He fired the gun after breaking into the office on the fourth floor, killing the three judges and wounding three court staff, said a spokesman of the city's Communist Party propaganda department who would give only his surname, Tang.
The official said the judges were discussing a case unrelated to the man.
Zhu, who lived with his elderly parents after the divorce, apparently held a grudge against the court because of its property decision, Xinhua said. The judges Zhu attacked were not involved in his earlier case, the report said.
Though private gun ownership is virtually banned in China, the country has seen a rise in violent crimes amid the free-market reforms of recent years and a loosening of social controls.
Mass violent attacks are typically rare in China, but in recent months, the country has also witnessed a spate of assaults on schoolchildren by attackers wielding knives and in one case, a hammer.
Also on Tuesday, the Harbin Daily reported that a woman in her 40s attacked nine fellow passengers in sleeper compartments on an overnight train from northeastern Harbin to central Hebei province. The woman used a scrap of iron as her weapon, stabbing victims in their arms and legs around 2 a.m. Monday.
The woman, who was not identified, was arrested by police, the report said. Her oldest victim was a 73-year-old woman.
Three of the nine victims were sent to the Jiamusi Railway Hospital, where they were treated and released, said a hospital staffer who gave her name surname as Zhang.
In central Henan province, a man trying to stop the demolition of houses in his village of Nanliuzhuang drove a truck into a crowd of workers, leaving three dead and 13 injured, a district government office said.
"He first stopped his truck in the middle of the road ... then suddenly accelerated the vehicle and crashed into the workers," the Guancheng district office of the provincial capital of Zhengzhou said in a statement to The Associated Press.
The villager, identified as Liu Danao, fled and was being pursued by police, it said.
