(THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - A 61-year-old man who had served 12 years in jail for incest was arrested after his nine-year-old granddaughter lodged a police report against him, Berita Harian reported.
Kulim police official Ghuzlan Salleh said the young girl made the report after she confided in a school teacher about what had happened to her last month.
The suspect had been convicted for raping his own daughter 13 years ago and was sentenced to 12 years in prison plus whipping for the offence.
He was released a month ago.
