A teenager has been arrested on suspicion the murder after he was found dead by relatives at the family home.
Jordan Ryan, 18, is alleged to have stabbed his father Neil, 46, and mother, Debbie, 41, who is in Royal Blackburn Hospital where her condition is described as critical.
He is believed to have attacked his parents after an argument before fleeing to his grandparents', Jean and Bill Ryan, where allegedly told them what had happened.
