A central Oklahoma woman is killed after being run over by a lawnmower late Friday night.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said 51-year-old Connie Spence of Francis was driving the mower down one of the city's streets around 11:15 p.m.
They said she was thrown from the machine when it hit a pot hole on the road's edge. She landed 14 feet ahead of the mower, which was still moving forward.
It continued on, hitting Spence.
No other vehicles were involved, according to the accident report. Troopers are investigating the incident.
Francis, Okla. is about 13 miles northwest of Ada in Pontotoc County.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
