The Indonesian Children Protection Agency has reacted with horror after a video was posted on Youtube in which a toddler from East Java was filmed smoking and answering with explicit langauge a series of questions posed by adults about encounters with prostitutes.
In the three-and-a-half-minute video, the child, whose addressed as San and who appears no older than four years of age, repeatedly inhales deeply from a large clove cigarette and blows smoke rings while he answers the questions in Javanese.
Adults: Sandy, what do you want be when you grow up?
San: A thief.
Adults: What will you spend your money on?
San: On hookers.
Adults: Where?
San: Dolly [Dolly prostitution complex in Surabaya, East Java].
Adults: What’s the best thing in the world?
San: Vaginas
The adults then asked him to demonstrate intercourse, to which the child responds by shaking his hips.
Eddy Iksan from the Pusaka Indonesia Foundation, which is a member of the Indonesian Children Protection Commission (KPAI), said the adults had clearly violated the 2003 Child Protection Law.
“They used the child to verbally spread pornography, that’s a violation of the Child Protection Law and it’s obvious that they were recording the conversation to publish or to expose it to public,” Eddy said.
He added that the police should start an investigation because San was clearly being abused.
“It’s child abuse,” Eddy said. “Teaching a toddler to smoke and speak foul language is an abuse of the child’s rights for a stable environment and a good education. Police should take action.”
The person who uploaded the video on Youtube did not mention the location where the video was taken. However, the dialect sounded similar to that spoken by people in East Java.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
