DETROIT -- Police are investigating a homicide of a young woman on the city's far west side.
The woman's body was found inside of a red Saturn Monday evening on Pierson and Keeler streets.
Neighbors told police that they noticed that the Saturn was parked across the street for several days, but they didn't pay much attention.
When somebody peeked their head into the window, they saw the woman's body inside.
Police said she was shot in the head.
At first, investigators said they thought it was a suicide, but no gun was found inside of the car.
The vehicle is registered to a 21-year-old woman who lives a few blocks from where the car was parked.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
