A British gorilla expert died after being tied up and having her throat slit with a machete by an intruder in her home in Cameroon, an inquest heard today.
Ymke Warren, 40, was found bleeding to death by her boyfriend Dr Aaron Nicholas with her attacker still in the room.
The killer is thought to have hidden overnight in the attic and attacked Dr Warren after her partner left in the morning.
