A father has been murdered and his 13-year-old child left in a critical condition after a man stabbed them both before he crashed a hijacked car into a pub and died.
Robert Jackson, 41, and his daughter Ayesha were discovered by police at his home in Moston, Greater Manchester, after a knife battle last night.
The 34-year-old detectives believe attacked them was found three hours later, also with serious stab wounds, having smashed into the Alliance Inn pub in nearby Harpurhey. He died later in hospital from his injuries.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are understood not to be looking for anybody else in connection with the attacks.
