A 25-year-old Massachusetts woman was fatally injured when she fell from a golf cart after attending a wedding reception in northwestern Indiana over the weekend.
Police say Jennie Welch, of Brighton, Mass., fell from the cart as it went down a steep hill in the town of Dune Acres along Lake Michigan early Sunday morning.
The Times of Munster reports that Welch was found bleeding and unconscious, then died Sunday afternoon at an Indianapolis hospital.
