A WOMAN charged with murdering an Adelaide pensioner used a child's stroller to dispose of the victim's body parts, a court has heard.
Prosecutor John Wells told the Adelaide Magistrates Court today that a blood stain was found on the stroller and it was linked to the DNA of the 83-year-old victim, Vonne McGlynn.
The prosecution alleged 34-year-old Angelika Gavare broke into Ms McGlynn's Adelaide home in December 2008 and killed her, disposing of her body parts in a nearby creek.
Ms Gavare has yet to plea to the murder charge but has asked the court to release her on bail.
Opposing the application, Mr Wells said the case against the accused was strong and included admissions she made to her own relatives.
He said items belonging to the victim were also found in Ms Gavare's home, including the pensioner's passport, house keys, personal photos and furniture.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
