Four dead as petroleum tanker and TWO DOZEN other vehicles collide and catch fire on foggy Georgia interstate

More than two dozen vehicles, including a petroleum tanker, collided and burst into flames on a foggy Georgia interstate on Wednesday morning, killing at least four people and leaving several others hurt. At least six vehicles were still on fire when crews arrived at the scene on Interstate 16 in central Georgia, where a chain of crashes occurred at around 8:10 a.m, Laurens County EMS director Terry Cobb said. Firefighters and rescue workers were still clearing charred and twisted wreckage from the crash site nearly six hours later. Three people were initially reported dead in the collision but crews found another body in the wreckage later on Wednesday.
