A homeowner in St. Louis, Missouri, gunned down a 15-year-old boy during an attempted burglary Friday night.
Police say the victim, Demterius Murphy, and his alleged accomplice, 17-year-old Michael Bryant, were trying to burglarize a home in the Gravois Park section of St Louis.
The homeowner, a 33-year-old white male, went outside to investigate and reportedly shot Murphy, who was black, as the teen approached him.
