Grandmother, 82, mauled by three pit bulls in her own backyard who are STILL living next door

An 82-year-old grandmother in Ohio has been viciously mauled by three pit-bulls - but is living in terror because the dogs who live next door have not been taken away and destroyed. Attacked in her own Dayton backyard on Sunday night, Charlotte Carter was saved only by the swift intervention of her son Chris, who had to physically rip the dogs snarling jaws from his stricken mother. Suffering severe gashes and head injuries, Mrs. Carter is currently recovering in hospital while the family fume as authorities say the owner and dogs will only face prosecution once a full investigation is complete.
