NUEVO, Calif. (KTLA) — A mother and daughter were attacked and killed on Monday while walking in a rural community east of Perris. The incident happened just after 5 p.m. at Menifee Road and Central Avenue in Nuevo, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department investigators. Both women died from serious traumatic injuries. They have not been identified. Authorities are searching for a suspect described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s who fled on foot.
