A devout Christian has quit his job after his tax form turned up with the Number of the Beast 666 stamped on it.
Walter Slonopas, 52, a maintenance worker at a metal manufacturing company in Clarksville, Tennessee, called it a 'satanic omen' and said he had to quit.
Mr Slonopas, who worked for Contech Casting LLC, said: 'I cannot accept this number. If you accept that number, you sell your soul to the devil.'
