A teenager was arrested after police say she purposely ran over her brother with the family SVU and killed him.
Police say Sheila Martinez-Rodriguez, 19, and her brother, Jesus Martinez, 18, got into a fight that soon turned physical outside their home in Elsmere, Delaware, on Tuesday afternoon.
One of the siblings used a baseball bat, which was found at the scene of the crime.
Witnesses then say Martinez-Rodriguezgot behind the wheel of the van and ran her brother over, dragging him about 100 feet before coming to a stop.
She then ran to her parents car and fled the scene, NBC10 reports.
'I'm sure she was probably terrified,' said Elsmere Police Chief Laura Giles. 'I can't go into what was in her mind but she fled the scene. She was apprehended at a McDonald's.
