A 19-year-old Marine has been found dead in his bed at Camp Pendleton barracks after allegedly being beaten to death by a fellow Marine.
It is believed Lance Corporal Mario Arias Jr., from Canoga Park, California, was attacked at the San Diego County base after he confronted the suspect over his alcohol abuse.
The suspect, who was apparently drinking at the time, became ‘enraged’ and beat Arias to death in the early hours of Sunday morning, sources told the North County Times.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
