A tragic medical mix-up has left a young mother-to-be without the twin babies she was expecting after the wrong foetus was terminated in her womb.
The woman had been told that one of the twins had a congenital heart defect which would require years of operations - if he survived at all.
The sick baby shared the womb with his healthy twin.
The mother had made the agonising decision to have the sick baby injected to end his life.
